After an interestingly rollercoaster landing at Heathrow yesterday, thanks to the strong and gusty wind, I’m back on home ground with my mind absolutely buzzing with new impressions and happy memories. Just give me time to unpack, do the washing and download the new photos and I’ll try to make sense of it all and begin to share it with you. Until then a few more images of this wonderful city of Prague .

Welcome back! It's good to see you again! Thought of you last night at a lecture about monastic life, when I recommended "In This House of Brede" to those who might be interested in an accurate account inside a closed order...
ReplyDeleteYou sound as if you have had a wonderful time....and I'm looking forward to hearing about it.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see your blog popping up when I switched on the computer.
Thanks Broad, it's good to be back, though I will admit to having left Prague with an audible wrench. I would like to have heard the lecture you mention - I bet it was very interesting. BTW love the new photo :-)
ReplyDeleteI had a truly fantastic time, Fly and the weather was equally good :-) Sorry to have been such a dilatory blogger recently. I'm sometimes amazed I get any page-views at all :-) but things will improve - promise!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're back and have had a wonderful time. Missed you in blogging world!
ReplyDeleteAxx
Thanks, Annie, it feels like I've been away for ages, though it's less than 3 weeks, though they were very full weeks. I'm still miles behind with my favourite blogs, but I WILL catch up sooner or later :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you're back -- and with such lovely pictures and fascinating stories to tell! I'll stay tuned!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had such a good time - looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy. I think it would be hard to take an ugly picture of historic Prague and I had to restrain myself from photographing absolutely everything! So much to tell, but it needs some mental sorting first :-)
ReplyDeleteI had a wonderful time, thanks, Lucy, and am very grateful for having been given the opportunity to spend so long there. Prague is a wonderful city, as I think you can guess from the photos and my enthusiasm.
